You'll Get a Charge Out of This!

Join Jack Brown for demonstrations and hands-on activities emphasizing static electricity such as ringing bells with electricity and making lightning bolts!

You'll Get a Charge Out of This! will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, at Grove City Library.

For children ages 8 and up.

Operation Gratitude

All July, Grove City Library is participating in Operation Gratitude. Children and adults are encouraged to stop by and write a letter or draw a picture for a member of the military or a First Responder to show appreciation for their service.

Stop by stations in either the Youth Services Department or on the Second Floor by Reference. Supplies and guidelines are provided.

Westland Shelver

Westland Area Library is hiring a part-time/ 15 hour a week year-round Shelver position.  Responsibilities include shelving materials in all areas of the library’s collections; maintaining orderly shelves; retrieving materials from open and storage shelves; other duties as assigned by supervisor.

High school student 16 years or older or adult with high school diploma or equivalent.

Starting salary: $8.15/hour

Honoring Ernest Trickett: Ceremony remembers lost alumnus

This month, a memorial will be dedicated in the Netherlands to honor of the crew of a B-17 bomber shot down during World War II. Among the crew was Ernest "Ernie" Trickett, a graduate of Grove City High School who perished on June 22, 1943.
