We’ve launched a new SPL mobile app! The new app is convenient to use and has more features than ever. With the app, you can easily manage your account, access digital library content, explore popular online resources, view library news and upcoming events, and more. Get it now by scanning the QR code or searching for “Southwest Public Libraries" in your app store.
TIP: If you already had our old mobile app, you should be automatically directed to update to the new app from the app store. Most users of our old app should see the "Update" option in the app store, but some users may need to delete the old app before being able to download the new. Need app assistance? Two of our favorite app features:
- Scan your library card from your device: With the app, you don’t need to carry your library card or memorize your number unless you want to. Simply pull up your library card barcode from the app (“My barcode”) and scan from your device.
- Scan the ISBN barcode from the back of any book to see if the library has a copy. If the library owns a copy, place a hold with just a few taps. (Tip: we always encourage you to call if you can’t find a specific title, even if the app shows no results. Let’s face it, search results aren’t always perfect. We may have a different edition available or be able to borrow from another library system. We promise we’ll do our best to connect you with the title you are looking for.)
