King Tut Day

On November 4, 1922, a discovery in Egypt changed the world. British archaeologists found a step carved into stone and, by the end of the day, they had uncovered a whole staircase. Where did this staircase lead? Into an ancient tomb, and in it was the mummified body of King Tutankhamun (known as King "Tut" for short). That’s right, we’re talking about King Tut’s mummy.

Join us for some awesome and fun activities as we explore Ancient Egypt. The program will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at Westland Area Library.

For kids in grades 1-5.
