Military History: The Battle of Stalingrad

In the autumn of 1942, the Nazi army advanced on Stalingrad, beginning one of the most crucial battles of World War II. As one of the bloodiest battles with nearly 2 million military and civilian casualties, the Battle of Stalingrad was considered a turning point in the war.
