Music Crafting

Come and “Craft” unique music instruments and experience music with your senses at Grove City Library! All ages.

Music Crafting will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon on the following Saturdays:

June 9 – World Music: Unique music for different cultures

June 23 – Junk Music: Music can be created even from junk

July 7 – Music Sounds: The science of sound and emotion

July 21 – Musical Art: Make art out of LP Records and CD’s

Family Board Game Night

Family Board Game Night is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at Westland Area Library.

Join us for your favorite board or card game or learn a new one. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

New Horizons Book Club

Love to read? Want to explore new genres?

Take part in Grove City Library's New Horizons Book Club, and we’ll navigate different sections of fiction and nonfiction throughout the year. We’ll be looking into Classics, Poetry, Memoir, and who knows what else?

The next meeting is 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24. The book: Here Comes the Sun by Nicole Dennis-Ben.

Westland Plant Exchange

Come to the Westland Area Library to trade and talk about gardening and your plants. If you do not have any plants to trade, the library will provide some for you to start your own garden.

The Plant Exchange will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 19.

Local Authors Expo

The Local Author Expo highlights the creative accomplishments of writers from Grove City and the surrounding area.

Join us at this free event on Saturday, May 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Large Meeting Room of Grove City Library.

Authors will be on hand to discuss their work, sell and autograph books, and talk about the writing process.
