Military History: The Battle of Stalingrad

In the autumn of 1942, the Nazi army advanced on Stalingrad, beginning one of the most crucial battles of World War II. As one of the bloodiest battles with nearly 2 million military and civilian casualties, the Battle of Stalingrad was considered a turning point in the war.

Join MSgt Stephen Walter, USMC (Ret.) for a two-part program on the importance of the Battle of Stalingrad. The program will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 19 and 26, at Grove City Library.

Winter Break at the Library

Looking for something to do over Winter Break?

The Youth Services Department at Grove City Library invites all ages to beat the winter blues at the library with Winter Break Movies. Every day December 27-30, at 2 p.m., the library will show a different movie and offer popcorn and crafts.

Building with Boxes will be held all day Dec. 27-30. Children are invited to build stuff with boxes. No registration is required.
